Ladies and Gentlemen:
So half of the Elite 8 is set, with number 1 seeds Kentucky and
Wisconsin leading the way.
Unfortunately, I honestly do not have much to write since the majority
of the brackets got all 4 of yesterday’s winners correct. Most of those that were not perfect yesterday
had 3 write, and if you were one of the few that only correctly predicted 2
winners, you lost ground.
Kingfish Rod Parham and George
Walks continue to lead the pack, although we have a new entrant in third
place.
We lost no champions yesterday, so the champions in play remain
the same. Although two of those will
fall Saturday night as both matchups consist of two champions: Kentucky v. Notre Dame and Wisconsin v.
Arizona. As a reminder, he champions
selected this year are: Arizona, Duke, Iowa State, Kansas, Kentucky, Notre Dame, SMU, Villanova, Virginia, Wisconsin.
Bold teams remain in the tournament.
No picks of the day as most people had all 4 teams correct. I will mention Steven Usma #3 for having Harvard going into the Sweet Sixteen –
not that I am a homer or anything.
Perhaps things will be a bit more exciting after tonight’s games – where
we do have lots of varying picks.
I also want to give a shout out to Daxter Miles, Jr., the freshman
starter at West Virginia who incorrectly predicted on Wednesday that Kentucky
would be 36-1 after West Virginia won the game.
Not only were you wrong, and not only did your entire team get
humiliated and doubled up (Final score 78-39), but you did not score a single
point. Learn when to keep your mouth
shut.
Have fun watching the last half of the Elite 8 advance. Remember today’s game count for four points.

As always, please double check your math as I may have missed
something. I corrected a few ballots
from yesterday’s results, as yes, I even double-check myself.
Now, on to the standings. Ties, for now, are listed
alphabetically.
